Final Exam week nila Jezka.
Last night, we were reviewing the Vowels & Consonants for today's exam.
The book's instruction was to check the picture that does not have the same beginning sound (nasa vowel sounds kami)...
Me: Oh, which picture has different beginning sound? Diba Apple, starts with "A" (while I pronounce the "short-A sound), tsaka yung Ant, diba start nya is "A"?
Jezka: Yes...
Q: Mommy, food ba ko? Kinagat ako ni Ate...diba di naman ako food?
A: Oo nga..di ka naman food...si ate talaga! Papaliguan natin sya ng ice cold water!

Q. Bakit tayo nag s-sleep?
A: Para maging strong & health tsaka para maging tall!
Q: Mommy, nag sleep ka din ba nung baby ka?
A: No, kaya tignan mo hindi tall si mommy! :-(

A: Kasi nasa office pa sya..
Q: Para bibili sya ng Chuckie?
A: Opo!

I guess Jezka is in a stage na where she asks a lot of questions. I know this time will come na parang lahat e may question sya. Sometimes, it really makes us smile kasi minsan out of this world ang mga comments & questions nya. From what I've read, children should be answered correctly. Sometimes kasi, we tend to answer them with "pilosopo" kasi we thought na its funny. Pero that's wrong pala kasi at an early age, madali mag register sa kanila yon. As much as possible, we try to answer her ng with facts (hanggang sa abot ng aming makakaya!), kasi when she asks, for sure may follow up question. But i really love her "questioning", it just proves that she is a good observer :)
