It's exactly 17 days since I gave birth to our second daughter, Jia.
It was an easy pregnancy until my 35th week when I was advised to take complete bed rest due to threatened pre-term labor. I was a prisoner at home for 2 weeks. It was the best time also to bond with my eldest Jezka. It was the longest 2 weeks ever..as we are all excited for Jia's arrival.

Typhoon Egay was at its peak when we went to The Medical City for the scheduled CS operation. With Jezka in tow, we waited paitently for our room.
August 18, 2007.
6:00 AM. Nurses & medical staff were in & out of my room for the preparation for the 8am schedule.
7:00 AM. I was wheeled to the operating room.
Due to heavy rains bought by typhoon Egay, my OB was stranded. She came at around 9:30 AM.
Anesthesia was given & the procedure started.
I kept myself busy watching the procedure from the metal reflections from the lights. It was a good view! I witnessed the entire procedure, from the first cut to the final stitch.
Jiana Kathlyn came out at exactly 9:45AM.
Weight: 7.5 lbs
Length: 19 inches
